Iran actor to appear in new project

Iranian actor Javad Ezzati is slated to star in Mohammadhossein Mahdavian’s latest project, ‘Lottery’.

Produced by Seyyed Mahmoud Razavi, ‘Lottery’ will star actors Javad Ezzati, Hadi Hejazifar and Saed Soheili.

Some parts of the film are planned to be captured outside Iran and the rest of the shooting will be done in Tehran.

Javad Ezzati cooperated with Mahdavian in his previous project, ‘Midday Event’, which won awards at the 35th Fajr Film Festival.

Mohammad-Javad Ezzati began his art career in theater acting from the age of 15.

He experienced his first cinematic role in ‘Gold and Copper’ (2008).

Ezzati has acted in a number of movies, such as ‘Africa’ (2010), ‘Everything is Calm’ (2010), ‘Yalda Dead-End’ (2010), ‘Time to Grow Up’ (2012), ‘Everything for Sale’ (2012), ‘Displaced’ (2012), ‘Kalashnikov’ (2013), ‘Angels Come Together’ (2013), ‘Track 143’ (2013), ‘Hailstone and Sun’ (2014), and ‘Paradise’ (2015).

He has also appeared in several TV series, including ‘Mozaffar’s Garden’ (2006), ‘The Residential Base’ (2007), ‘The Man of a Thousand Faces’ (2007), ‘Mozaffar’s Treasure’ (2007), ‘Like No One’ (2008), ‘Let's Not Turn Around’ (2009), ‘Four Walls’ (2009), ‘Bitter Coffee’ (2009), ‘Ancient Land’ (2010), ‘Three Shares Each’ (2011), ‘What Goes Around, Comes Around’ (2011), ‘Chimney’ (2013), ‘Huge Problems 1’ (2014), and ‘Huge Problems 2’ (2015).

His spouse, Mahlaqa Beqeri, is an actress and director as well.
